An avalanche of premium compact cars this year

One of the leader in producing car in Indai, the Maruti Suzuki has released its Ritz hatchback. And it is planning for the second release in the next six months. As a reflection the other companies in the market are also in operation to come up with showy and chic hatchbacks.

In the coming year, the premium compact car segment for a price of above Rs 4.5 lakh is going to be a drone. Also from the car producers like Hyundai Motors, Honda Siel Cars (HSCI), Toyota Kirloskar, Fiat Auto, Volkswagen India and Ford India the releases are anticipated.

Maruti’s Ritz comes with a new K12M, 1.2 litre petrol engine alleged to be more fuel proficient with less emission. Adding, Ritz is the first car in Indian road to have a engine that complies the BS-IV emission standards. Also Ritz is the eighth small car from Maruti and it is anticipated that the price is about Rs 4.5-5 lakh.
